Good-bye 2020 - Hello 2021!
What a crazy year it’s been. 2020 was marked by tremendous ups and downs that none of us could have ever expected.
As we welcome the new year, it’s time to start thinking about the goals we hope to achieve over the coming months. What can you do this year to help improve your life? Where do you see your ideal self at the end of 2021? These are the questions we’re asking as we start to outline our New Year's resolutions.

Become A Plant Owner
Interestingly enough, research suggests that indoor plants can help decrease psychological and physiological stress. Scientists have found improved nervous system functioning, reduced blood pressure, and more positive feelings among those who interact with indoor plants. Having live plants in your living or work space may be one of the easiest ways to improve both your mental and physical health. Plus, it’s a great way to spruce up your home decor. ;)
Read/Listen To More Books
Books are so helpful in keeping our minds sharp and learning about the world around us. They’re also one of the best ways to stay entertained, yet relaxed, when you have some time to yourself. Reading can be one of the hardest activities to incorporate into a busy lifestyle, but it doesn’t have to be! For those of us who simply don’t have the time to sit down with a book, perhaps try listening to your favorite stories during your morning routine or during your evening commute. Download or stream individual audiobooks or subscribe to an audiobook service - Audible is our personal fave. :)
Start A CBD Routine
Have you been meaning to embark on a CBD journey? Perhaps 2021 is the year to finally get started! Make your first Brielle CBD oil purchase and enhance your health and wellness routine. Try One New Recipe Every Week
Getting bored of eating the same meals all the time? Start dedicating one day each week to making a new recipe! Refine your cooking skills, discover new favorite dishes, and add some variety to your diet. You can even enhance your own tried-and-true recipes by adding some Brielle CBD!
Stay In Contact With Friends & Family
We often overlook the importance of staying in touch with loved ones when life gets hectic, and social distancing recommendations during the time of COVID-19 certainly don’t make it any easier. Whether it’s an old roommate you’ve been meaning to reach out to or a family member you haven’t seen in a while, start shooting a text or planning a phone/Zoom call with a different person at least once a week. Or, maybe even take some time to write out a letter and send it in the mail!
Incorporate More Exercise Into Your Routine
Get out of that 2020 slump and achieve a more active lifestyle in 2021! Completing the suggested 150 minutes of moderate activity each week doesn’t have to take up a huge chunk of your schedule. If you don’t have 30-60 minutes to dedicate to an extended workout, try spreading your physical activity out over the course of a day. Do intermittent exercises between tasks (jumping jacks, planks, wall sits, etc.), take a 20 minute walk during your lunch break, or simply take the stairs instead of the elevator. Even minor habit changes can go a long way!
Plan Out Your Days
Ever feel like there’s not enough hours in the day to get everything done? Work on your time management in 2021 by planning out a daily and weekly schedule. Take some time before bed or during your lunch break to map out everything that needs to get done the next day, including your top priorities and a time estimate of how long each task will take. Do the same thing at the beginning of each week by writing down any upcoming appointments, meetings, and other milestones you’d like to achieve over the next few days. There’s TONS of cute planners you can find online or at your local grocery store that can help make this process even more enjoyable for you.
Start & Stick To A Cleaning Schedule
There’s nothing better than coming home to a clean house at the end of a long, stressful day... and nothing worse than coming home to hours-worth of chores staring you in the face. If you aren’t the type of person who was blessed with a love for cleaning, you may find this arduous task a bit easier by spacing out a cleaning schedule throughout the week. Dedicate smaller portions of your house to different days of the week rather than spending entire evenings or days cleaning your house or apartment from top to bottom. You’ll also thank yourself later if you don’t procrastinate on simple chores that will only pile up over time - laundry and dishes, sigh. Jamming out to your favorite playlist or turning on an audiobook will also help pass the time. :)
Try Something New Every Month
Order take-out from that new restaurant down the street, learn a new skill, plan out your first solo road-trip. Make a personal bucket list and make it your goal to accomplish it before the end of the year. There’s plenty of new and exciting journeys you can take while following social distancing guidelines (hopefully we’ll say goodbye to those this year, too!). Repeat after me: We’re keeping things interesting this year.
Practice Mindfulness With Meditation & Yoga
Mental and physical stress are an inevitable part of life. Ease your mind and body in 2021 by incorporating yoga and meditation into your health and wellness routine. Experts suggest that yoga can help reduce stress, improve overall fitness, and manage conditions such as chronic pain and cardiovascular diseases. Meditation can also help train your brain to be more presently aware and find peace. There are many different styles and forms of yoga and so many helpful online resources, so don’t get discouraged if you’re a beginner!
2021 will be a year of growth, health, and positivity - Speak it into existence!
