Store-bought chocolate-covered strawberries can cost an arm and a leg - save a few bucks and make them at home! They’re the best of both worlds: Fancy, yet cheap and easy to make! What makes this chocolate-covered strawberries recipe better than the rest? Adding a dash of Brielle CBD oil, of course! Here’s how:
1 pint of fresh strawberries
¾ cup of chocolate chips
½ teaspoon of coconut oil
1 mL of Brielle CBD oil (or other desired amount)
Line a baking sheet with foil/parchment paper. Set aside.
Combine your chocolate chips and coconut oil into a microwave-safe bowl and heat them in the microwave for 60 seconds. Remove and stir.
Continue to microwave for 30-second intervals until mixture is smooth.
Check the temperature using a digital thermometer. Once the temperature is below 240 degrees Fahrenheit, gently stir in the CBD oil. Do NOT stir in if the temperature is above 240 degrees.
Gently dip your strawberries into the chocolate, letting the excess chocolate run off before setting them on the lined baking sheet.
Place your strawberries in the refrigerator until chocolate hardens.
It is important to make sure your liquid never reaches a temperature above 240 degrees Fahrenheit as high temperatures will inactivate many important properties of the CBD oil.
