Getting Creative in the Kitchen

There are many different ways you can take CBD oil, but did you know you can also use it to spice up some of your favorite recipes? Brielle’s Propriety Better Blend probiotic CBD oil is formulated just right to incorporate into almost any treat or dish you can imagine. Whether you’re thinking of adding CBD oil to your mother’s famous chocolate chip cookie recipe or your favorite homemade guacamole, you’ll want to know a few basic guidelines before getting started.

Watch Your Temperature

This may be the most important rule to keep in mind as you’re preparing your recipes. Higher temperatures can burn the terpenes in your CBD oil and reduce the effectiveness of your product. You should not exceed 340 degrees Fahrenheit when baking with CBD if you want to experience optimal benefits.

When baked properly, Brielle’s blend of Bacillus coagulans probiotics and CBD oil can be added to all CBD-friendly recipes. Our probiotic component can endure higher temperatures (up to about 400 degrees Fahrenheit), so both compounds will remain stable when baking at or below the recommended 340 degrees.

Start With A Familiar Recipe

It may be tempting to get creative right away, but it’s best to start with a recipe you feel comfortable with if you haven’t baked with CBD before. After you’ve practiced and determined your preferred way of adding CBD to your ingredients, then you can start experimenting!

Get Your Proportions Right

Especially if you’re a beginner, take time to measure out your CBD oil and avoid adding too much or too little to your recipe. Determine how many servings you are preparing and add doses of your product accordingly. (Tune back in next week to learn more about determining which dosage is right for you!)
